JumiAmp – Remote Control for iTunes & WinAmp music & video play App Reviews

I can control some snafus of my radio station. Thanks Jumi. Now I wish for a microfone and sound on my Ipod. Would be nice with a mute. first the mic. pleaseeeee

I swear I purchase so many garbage apps from this market. Where to start with this one. Tried the lite version and was able to switch music in iTunes well. Then purchased full version. Cannot get volume to work with iTunes on windows7 machine. Cannot get music library to load. Only thing I can do is next song and rewind and fast forward. Other then that I must be in front of pc to choose songs if I want to select a song thats not the next one in the list. Would not recommend!!

I can say that this program is really amazing. I can control my Winamp from my iPod perfectly. I also like that I can change songs from this program to my playlist on Winamp. For the price, I definitely say "Get it. Its worth it."

If you are looking to just control your Winamp from your iPhone, this app works fine. HOWEVER, if youre hoping to play your Winamp tunes and listen on your iPhone, DO NOT BUY THIS APP! The support forum implies that you may need to buy Jumimouse or Jumicam but its very vague.

It does what it needs to but it has room for many improvements. Number one would be the ability to choose the playlists from the app. You have to pre-select the playlist in iTunes to play it. It meets basic needs though. Hoping updates will be coming so I can give more than 3 stars.

Whats the point of 3G access if it doesnt play music over your phone? This isnt any better than Apples remote app that is free.

Good app to control the song playing and volume. Would like to be able to select playlists and then it would be an awesome app! I use it with Sony s-air to stream music all around my home.

Its buggy and unstable. I select a song and when I press play it plays something completely different. Scrolling through your library is nearly impossible. There is no search function. It will not play through an album, it just shuffles through the library even when shuffle is off. The organization of the library is completely whacked out. If you have more that 1000 songs good luck finding what you want in under 5 minutes. This app is a complete hassle and not worth purchasing. I would demand a refund but Apple fails in that department. Im fully disappointed. Funny too that no one will see this review or reply. Apple, I want my money back. This app does not do as advertised. Between this and my recent iTunes purchase issues you will be lucky to ever see me spend a cent on your company again. Get it together.

ATTENTION: My personal opinion ALERT :)- People are so counter productive :)- This app is backed by brilliance. There are kinks, like everything else. I can drive home and tell Siri to warm up my music? WHY ARE PEOPLE SCARED OF BEING PATIENT? Who wouldnt want to ENCOURAGE an app to, simply , fix "little" things. Im not even mentioning kinks, app developers arent stupid, they will work out bugs and kinks. *ATTENTION: My personal opinion ALERT* Leave the mean and ignorant reviews for the apps that arent intuitive and are counter productive, PLEASE. PS. I worked in an industry light years away from the technology behind this app and many others so all this is my humble opinion. Thank you computer gurus for keeping most of the ignorant people away. By away I mean keeping them from tainting your beautiful products. :) cheers :) RED

Love this app, the only criticism is that every time you exit out of it the program has to reconnect, which takes like 3 seconds. Other than that its easy to set up and a must have for anyone!

I have had several a/v guys come by my house quoting thousands of dollars to install a music/video distribution system. For far less you can DIY! If you have an old laptop with WiFi and hard drive storage for your collection, i just plugged into my home a/v system and BAM! instant av distribution and most importantly control from anywhere in your home! Easy to setup, about 5 min fiddling with the app and your the DJ! On the minus side it would be nice to have complete control of WinAmp (EQ settings etc) and since some of my song file names are long it would be nice to have a scroll feature since for some files I cant even see the song title... considering how much you could spend on Sonos or similar systems 3.99 is HUGE bargain if you have a spare laptop sitting around and a sound system to plug into. UPDATE DO NOT USE THIS APP only wanted control of my music but I found JUMI joystick running and I did not ask for it. only found it when i tried to add another mouse. had to fight it tooth and nail it does not give up easy This app will turn your PC into a zombie ... heads up apple this one is rotten fruit... NEVER download remote software that doesnt give local control ie a non local software with a dongle that had access to your pc over the Internet I would shut these guys out ASAP
